Scholarship Application

The Calgary Inclusive Hockey Association recognizes that the cost to play hockey is often a significant barrier to people's ability to join a team.

Thanks to support from our community partners, the CIHA has implemented a scholarship policy to help offset the cost of hockey fees. Interested applicants are invited to apply for a subsidy of between 15% and 50% of their yearly hockey fees.

If you apply for a subsidy at the same time you pay a deposit for a roster spot, you will have seven days after being informed of the final decision on your scholarship application to decide if you want to proceed with playing or receive a full refund of your deposit.

Please note: All applications to the CIHA scholarship program are kept anonymous to only the Director of Sponsorships (Mike Haska) and the Director of Finance (Alex Bradley). Adjudication of entries will be anonymized before they are submitted to the board.
